My Statement of Faith – Part 3

The third part in my statement of faith concerns the topic of Creation.

Creation

I believe that God created the Universe in six days, according to the plain reading of Scripture; that the things which He created (e.g., cosmology, geology, biology, etc.) testify to the glory of God in Creation and that science, properly understood and employed, confirms God’s special Creation and the truth of Scripture.
I believe that in the fullness of time and according to God’s plan in Christ, the Universe will be liberated from the bonds of sin and death at which time God will make a new Universe, the everlasting home of righteousness and the dwelling place of God with man.
